My son has been going here for over a year now and he has gained so much confidence! The instructors are wonderful and really care about the students. They also do school talks and came to the school where I teach and talked to the first graders. The students got to learn how to be safe and some martial arts moves. They loved it so much they still ask me to use the martial arts terms for sitting and standing!

The instructors are really knowledgeable and helpful. I truly feel like it is a family atmosphere and have always felt welcome. The Kids have such a blast in class and kickboxing is full of energy and such a great workout! Love this place! Wouldn't choose anywhere else!

The instructors here are just amazing! My son is in martial arts and he LOVES it they make it fun while teaching which is perfect to keep him focused and engaged. Im in kickboxing, just starting my my third week and I can't say enough great things about the instructors. They are fun and patient, they explain what we are working on if it's something I haven't learned yet they have no problem going over it again. It is such a positive, comfortable environment all around. When you come to class it feels like you are with friends and family not just at some gym. My family will be with MARS for many years to come. My husband is even taking kickboxing classes now as well!! Thank you all so much you are fantastic :-)

Sifu/Guro Troy is one of the most well rounded and skilled martial arts instructors I know. If you live in Grand Junction this the only place to train.
My son began karate over a year ago. I would have never picked this activity for him. After asking what seemed to be a million times, we registered for the 6 week introductory program and the rest is history! My son is the happiest doing karate than I've seen him in any other sport. He looks up to the instructors and is learning concepts about leadership that expand beyond karate as a discipline. Thank you MARS.
My two oldest sons love your martial arts school, they have both gained self confidence, are more respectful and attentive. They also have become great leaders, modeling the correct behavior more often than not. My oldest has really enjoyed being a part of the leadership/demo team and gets his community service hours for school by helping the younger students. They are both looking forward to the kids fitness kickboxing program starting this summer as well.
I'm new to this discipline but I'm really enjoying the workout and the learning. I used to feel insecure about my ability to defend myself in such case, but with what I'm learning I feel more empowered. And the instructors are encouraging and don't make me feel any less because I'm out of shape! I feel great when I leave each class. Beating a bag is so therapeutic too!!! I can say that anger management is no longer needed. Ha ha
